Strengthen your window lock security
Many uPVC windows have a cheap locking system and unfortunately, burglars can circumvent these within seconds.
When it comes to window security, old wooden frames and dated latches are the biggest problems you will face.
You can make burglars’ life so much harder by simply fitting new secure locking handles or sash jammers.
uPVC Window Enhancements
Here at Cerberus Security, we have a wide range of options to make your property's windows more secure:

Hinge Bolts
These are metal pins that are fitted a few inches below and above the hinges. When closing the window, they’ll close into a keep on the window frame.
Hinge bolts are inexpensive and can be installed easily and quickly.
uPVC Window Restrictors
A uPVC window restrictor is a heavy duty cable that has been designed to allow you to open your uPVC windows and let air circulate the house, without allowing the window to open fully.
Restrictors are also useful for preventing young children and animals from fully opening windows.

Sash Jammers
Sash Jammers are fast and easy to install, commonly used as additional security to secure uPVC windows. They are available as locking and non-locking options.
A Sash jammer is fitted to the uPVC frame and can be turned through 90 degrees to block a window from opening should the lock be bypassed by a thief.
